Meet the Synter alternative that doesn't take 3% of your ad spend

Synter charges $20 to $500/month plus 3% of every dollar you spend on ads, plus metered fees per agent task. AdKit is $29/month flat: MCP, ad library, competitor tracking, and creative studio. Your ad budget grows. Your tool bill doesn't.

"We switched to AdKit from another tool and haven't looked back. It does everything the alternative did, and then some. The biggest win for our agency has been managing ad accounts directly through Claude via terminal. Support has been genuinely great too, responsive and actually helpful. If you're running an agency and managing multiple ad accounts, this is worth a proper look."

20+ platforms wide vs. 7 platforms deep

Synter's headline feature is coverage: 20+ ad platforms through one MCP server. Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest, Microsoft, Samsung TV, Trade Desk, StackAdapt, Spotify, ChatGPT Ads, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Taboola, Outbrain. If you run ads across many of these, that breadth solves a real coordination problem.

AdKit focuses on the platforms where most paid growth happens: Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Microsoft. It goes deeper on each: a 500k+ ad library, competitor tracking by URL, a swipe file, and AI creative generation. The MCP is one piece of a full advertising toolbox.

AdKit gives your agent more to work with on the seven platforms where most teams and agencies spend.

20+ platforms wide vs. 7 platforms deep

Two approaches to keeping agents in check

Synter uses tiered autonomy. Low-risk actions (pause underperforming ads, generate reports) run without asking. High-impact actions (budget increases, new campaign launches) queue in Synter's app until a person approves them. The gate is server-side, so an agent can't talk its way past it, but everything below your thresholds executes on your live account automatically.

AdKit uses draft-first isolation. Agents write drafts inside AdKit. Your live ad account is never touched until you review and hit publish. If the agent goes rogue, the mess stays contained in AdKit, not scattered across your ad accounts.

Synter gives you granular per-action rules. AdKit gives you a simpler mental model: nothing is live until you say so.

Two approaches to keeping agents in check

Research: where do you find what ads to run?

Synter starts at execution. You bring the strategy, the angles, the creative direction. Your agent builds and launches campaigns from your instructions. It integrates with SimilarWeb and SpyFu for traffic insights, but you cannot see what copy, images, or hooks competitors are actually running.

AdKit starts earlier. Track competitors by URL, browse 500k+ ads, save to a swipe file, generate variations in Studio, then launch. The research-to-execution loop lives in one place.

You can pair Synter with a separate ad library tool. That means an extra subscription, extra context switching, and data that doesn't flow into your campaign workflow.

Research: where do you find what ads to run?

Where Synter wins

Platform breadth. If you advertise on Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, Spotify, Samsung TV, Taboola, or Trade Desk alongside the big three, Synter covers all of them today. AdKit covers Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Microsoft.

Approval workflows. Synter's tiered autonomy system lets you configure per-action thresholds: agents can auto-pause low performers but need approval for budget changes over $1,000. AdKit's draft-first model is simpler (everything is a draft until you publish) but doesn't offer granular per-action rules.

AI video generation. Synter's higher tiers include video and image generation. AdKit generates static ad creatives but doesn't do AI video yet. If you need 10+ platforms under one roof with configurable agent autonomy, Synter is the better pick.

Flat price vs. a percentage of your ad spend

Synter's bill has three parts. A plan fee: Solo is $20/month, Scale is $500/month per workspace. A platform fee: 3% of every dollar of ad spend Synter manages, on every plan, billed monthly. And metered actions: $0.25 per change shipped to a platform, $1 to $5 per agent task depending on the model. The plan fee converts into usage credits, so the $20 Solo plan buys $20 of metered actions, then extra usage is pay as you go.

AdKit is $29/month (1 account, full toolbox including MCP) or $49/month (unlimited projects). Flat. No percentage of spend, no per-task fees, no credits to watch.

The 3% is the part to run the numbers on. On $10,000/month of ad spend it's $300/month before plan fees and usage, roughly 6x AdKit's top price. On $50,000/month it's $1,500. Synter's entry price is lower, but the 3% fee means the bill grows with your ad spend. AdKit's $29 to $49 doesn't.

Flat price vs. a percentage of your ad spend

"If you've ever tried any other MCP, you'll quickly realize that they might give you access to your data, but the moment you start creating campaigns, everything will break. Adkit created something that just works like magic."

Still struggling to choose?

Quick buyer guide.
AdKit

Pick AdKit if you want depth on Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, and Microsoft.

  • You run ads on Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X, or Microsoft. You don't need 20+ platforms.

  • You want research before execution: competitor tracking, ad library, swipe file.

  • You want draft-first safety. Your agent can't touch your live account unless you approve.

  • You want one tool for the full job: research, brief, create, launch, watch.

That's agencies, growth leads, founders, and in-house teams running paid social.

SynterSynter

Pick Synter if you need every platform under one roof.

  • You run ads across 5+ platforms including Amazon, Spotify, Pinterest, or programmatic.

  • You want configurable approval workflows with per-action thresholds.

  • You need AI video generation (Veo) built into your ads workflow.

  • You already have your own research and creative inspiration process. You just need execution.

If that's you, Synter is built for multi-channel teams at scale.

"AdKit has legit sped up my workflow 5x or more. Completely worth it. Occasional bugs, but they're small and the team fixes them asap. I've only used it for Meta so far, but will do Google and TikTok soon. I'm blown away at the product. Connected with Claude, this is a legit game changer."

A word from the founder

Nico, Founder of AdKit

Hi there 👋 I'm Nico, the founder of AdKit 😄

Before building startups, I was a media buyer. I managed over $1,000,000 in Ads, sold two startups grown with ads, and helped 1,000+ makers learn Meta Ads through my online guides.

I love ads but... it involves a lot of repetitive, boring work 😩 And I hated every second of it. So I built AdKit to fix that.

To let me and other marketers focus on the fun parts: the strategy, the thinking, the creativity. And not have to waste my time clicking around in buggy interfaces.

It's the app I always dreamed of, and I hope you'll like it too 😀
