Coverage and measurement basis
Google’s official transparent vertical template leaves a rectangle from x48 to x888 and y288 to y1248 on a 1080 × 1920 canvas. This reserves 15% at the top and 35% at the bottom. It is a universal video guide, rather than a measurement of one Shorts screen.
